It is shown that human trafficking is closely related to labor migration. It has been proven that this does not exhaust the entire range of criminal actions aimed at illegally obtaining profits from the latter. It is described that, for this purpose, illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine, theft or forgery of documents, fraud, violation of the order of employment in economic activity, gross violation of the employment agreement are also committed. It is suggested that in order to prevent human trafficking, it is advisable to communicate with the population through mass media, in schools, at workplaces about crimes against human freedom and explain how to behave if a person finds himself in a similar situation.
