Formation information culture of society

Information culture is a systematized set of knowledge, abilities, skills aimed at meeting information needs that arise during educational, scientific, cognitive and other types of activities. The need for the formation of information culture is determined by the fact that the information provision of activities of all types and levels is changing, the information infrastructure is expanding, and the network of information bases of knowledge, electronic educational and scientific communications is expanding.
